Rules & FAQ
Las Guineas is a friendly, welcoming community. Our rules exist to ensure every guest — whether here for one night or the whole season — enjoys a safe, peaceful, and pleasant experience. We appreciate your cooperation.
Quiet Hours: 11 PM – 7 AM
Please respect your neighbors by keeping noise to a minimum between 11 PM and 7 AM. This includes music, generators, TVs, and loud conversations. After 11 PM, you may stay outside as long as you do not disturb other campers. Repeat offenders may be expelled from the park without refund.
Speed Limit: 10 km/h (6 mph)
A strict 10 km/h speed limit applies throughout the park at all times. Children and pets share these roads — please drive slowly and stay alert. Violators will receive one warning, followed by removal at management's discretion.
Pets Welcome — With Responsibility
Pets are welcome at Las Guineas. The renter is fully responsible for their pet(s), including cleanliness, damages, and nuisances. Dogs must be on a leash in all common areas and owners must pick up after their pets immediately. Pets are not allowed in the pool area or inside the clubhouse.
Fires & BBQ
Open fires on the ground are not permitted. Charcoal or propane BBQ grills are allowed on your site with proper use. Never leave a lit grill unattended. Dispose of cooled ash in the designated containers. During high-wind or dry-weather advisories, grilling restrictions may apply — check with the office.
Day Visitors
Visitors are welcome free of charge, under the renter's responsibility. If visitors use the pool, a fee of ~7.96$ CAD (MX$100)/day per person applies, payable at the front desk. Overnight visitors who are not registered are not permitted without prior approval from management and applicable fees.
Check-In & Check-Out
Check-in time is 2:00 PM and check-out is 12:00 PM (noon). Early check-in and late check-out may be available upon request subject to availability. Please notify the office if you will arrive after 6:00 PM so we can prepare your site and gate access.
Cancellations & Refunds
Reservations are non-refundable. If the renter shortens their stay for personal reasons, the deposit becomes non-refundable for unused months and the site may be re-rented. In case of exceptional weather conditions (hurricane, tropical storm), a temporary departure may entitle the renter to a future credit, with no cash refund. In case of unforeseen major emergency (health, death, disaster) with proof, the deposit may be refunded at the Management's discretion. Cancellations must be sent in writing, by email or WhatsApp.
Occupancy: Up to 3 People per Site
Each site accommodates up to 3 people at the posted rate. Each additional person is 80$ CAD (MX$1,000)/month, prorated for shorter stays. Please declare the exact number of guests at booking — undeclared extra occupants may be charged on-site or asked to leave.
Camper Responsibilities
Each guest is responsible for keeping their site clean and tidy. Do not dispose of cooking grease in sewer connections. Garbage must be placed in designated bins — do not leave bags on the ground overnight. Report any damage to park property or utility hookups to the office immediately. Management reserves the right to remove guests who cause disruption or damage.
Pool — usage rules
The pool is unsupervised. Each renter is fully responsible for their family, children, and guests. The outdoor shower and foot bath are mandatory before entering the pool. No glass bottles or glass objects are allowed in the pool area — use plastic or metal containers.
Waste sorting
Household trash goes in bags in the designated bins. Cans and plastic bottles go in the wire mesh bin. Glass bottles are placed on the ground next to the bin. Please respect the sorting to help recycling and keep the park clean.
Rates & Payment Policy
A deposit of 159$ CAD (MX$2,000)/month of stay is required at booking to confirm your site (prorated for shorter stays). This deposit is deductible from each month's rent — it applies progressively to your monthly payments. If the renter shortens their stay, the deposit becomes non-refundable for unused months.
Monthly rent is due during the first week of each month (less the monthly deposit deduction). All rates are listed in Mexican pesos (MXN) and Canadian dollars (CAD). Prices include non-potable water, sewer, Wi-Fi, pool access, and shuttle service.
Electricity (50 AMP, 30 amp compatible) is not included. Each site has its own meter; please take a photo of the meter upon arrival. Usage is billed at ~0.32$ CAD (MX$4)/kWh, payable in pesos at the front desk — at check-out for short stays, or monthly for stays longer than one month.
